Local Mom Gets Her Big Break
Three Rivers, Michigan- Pam Sayer, owner of Stargazer Studio, has been selected by MomsTown.com to participate in the Internet Radio Show’s “Big Break” program. This weekly feature, hosted by Mary Goulet and Heather Reider, helps moms turn passions into profits. MomsTown’s proven system takes women with an idea or passion and helps them create a new business or take an existing business to the next level. The show is broadcast live each Wednesday from 1pm-2pm EST.

According to Sayer, “it was totally unexpected, but what a rare and incredible opportunity.” Launched in October of 2004, The MomsTown Big Break has already helped wildlife artist Alison Seda take a product concept to a successful business in four weeks. Pam continues, “MomsTown has given me a renewed outlook on my business and made me consider the possibility of having crazy dreams for my business- already they are taking me through steps to realize those dreams.”

Some of those steps include creating a media kit, a business strategy, and even simply admitting a crazy dream. For Sayer, a work-at-home mom to two preschoolers, it was tough to consider a dream for her business. “I think as moms, we often tend to focus our energy on everyone else. One of the best aspects of being involved in the Big Break is having this spur of energy and excitement. It has spilled over into other areas of my life, making this experience not just business-building, but life-changing.” Resources provided by the MomsTown team could help Pam land new wholesale accounts and even propel her designs to a status item among the rich and famous.

Like many modern moms, Pam Sayer works from home so that she can enjoy a flexible schedule and time with her young children. Pam started her business, Stargazer Studio, in 1999. Originally a small stained glass studio, the business has evolved and she currently creates custom beaded jewelry.
